Julia was born and raised in the south suburbs of Chicago which has given her extensive knowledge of the area as a whole. She currently resides in Mokena with her husband Alec, a firefighter/paramedic for the New Lenox Fire Protection District, their daughter, Miley and their basset hound Rudy. In her free time she enjoys spending time with family and music class at the local library with her daughter.
